『末期ノ母』
年老いた龍の最期。
精神的に大きな影響力のある存在として龍をモチーフにしました。

龍が長い間抱えていたわだかまりが解け、安らかな最期を迎える様子を描きました。
髭のカーブで、ゆっくりと身を任せる流れを表現しています。龍は弱った状態であり、外傷ではなく露出した鰓でその状態を表現しています。最初は角を折ろうかとも考えましたが、その角は威厳や誇りの象徴として残すことにしました。
作品には悲しみも感じられますが、どこか解放されたような安らかな表情を追求しました。

自社工房「怪談倶楽部」にて一点一点丁寧に仕上げます。
